IT and systems audit here is about whether the accounting file can survive a laptop that does not come back on Sunday. Access, posting rights, backups, and whether an FTA or bank request next week would produce a complete ledger.
What we look at
Who can post journals, who can change vendors, whether backups exist off the same machine, and whether the chart of accounts still matches how VAT is filed. We are not a penetration-test house. We are a Deira practice that has had to reconstruct books since 2024 because nobody asked these questions.
The report
Ranked findings, not a tool dump. A ten-user company gets ten-user advice. We will tell you if the risk is ‘buy a backup’ or ‘you cannot prove this return’.
Questions we are asked
Do you audit cloud software brands?
We audit your use of them: users, exports, closing. The vendor’s SOC report is not a substitute for your user list.
Will you migrate us to new software?
That is an implementation letter, not this audit. We can do both. They stay separate so the findings remain honest.
Is Excel an accounting system?
It is a file. If that is all you have, the audit will say so, and the next statutory auditor will too.
